The WHMA is a unique, elegant, and well-priced venue for private functions, such as weddings, showers, and bar mitzvahs. It is also a convenient location for corporate and association meetings and fundraising events.

General Guidelines for Rental of Museum Facilities*

Availability

The WHMA is available during regular gallery hours (Wednesday-Saturday) for special group tours and pre-approved programs and during non-museum hours by special arrangement (Monday-Sunday).

Pricing

The inside and outside areas that are available for rental (for a maximum of 4 hours each) include:

  • The Whistler House and the courtyard - $600
  • Parker Gallery and courtyard - $600
  • The Whistler House, Parker Gallery and courtyard - $900
  • Victorian Sculpture Garden - $600
  • The Whistler House and Victorian Sculpture Garden - $900
  • Parker Gallery and Victorian Sculpture Garden - $900
  • The Whistler House, Parker Gallery and Victorian Sculpture Garden - $1200
  • Additional hours, $100 per hour.

Capacity

  • The Whistler House: 24 banquet style; 40 theater/classroom style; 100 standing
  • Parker Gallery: 50 banquet style; 90 theater/classroom style; 125 standing

Reservations

All arrangements and reservations for specific dates and use of the facilities must be made through the WHMA office which has the final authority for the conditions and limitations. A deposit of 50% of total fee must be made to confirm reservation of the facility and must be received no later than one month prior to the scheduled event.  To discuss further details, or to make a reservation, contact Michael H. Caterers

A list of food caterers is available through the WHMA office. Alcoholic beverages may only be served by licensed and insured caterers.

* For complete details, see the WHMA Event Planning Agreement. The WHMA reserves the right to deny access to the Museum during non-museum hours, and the museum director has the right to limit usage based on safety, staff schedules, and security requirements.
