Wednesday through Saturday, 11 am to 4 pm

Pending docent availability, guided tours are offered each day from Wednesday through Saturday at 12 pm and 2 pm.

Accessibility

The first floor of the historic house, the Parker Gallery, and Whistler Park are all wheelchair accessible. A ramp is available for entry into the historic house in the rear, which can be accessed from a side path to the left of the front door. The docent at the front desk can assist you. Tour guides can also utilize self-guided tours to share the collection on the second and third floors of the historic home, if requested.

From Route 3 (North or South) or from I-495

Take Lowell Connector to Thorndike Street Exit (5B).

Continue straight through the intersection and then turn left onto Market Street (at the Haffner’s Gas Station).

Take the next left onto Worthen Street (one-way) to the gray house on right (#243).

Parking Options

Street parking is available on left side of Worthen Street.

Additionally, there is parking behind the museum on Dummer Street. To access, take the next 3 rights after the museum front door and enter from Market Street (metered lot); In the Lowell National Historical Park lot off Dutton Street, across the canal, 1 block East of the WHMA. (Must be validated by Lowell National Historic Park inside the Visitor's Center, accessed via the parking lot or Market Street.)
